PUNTNGO strengthens the organizational, operational, and conceptual properties of non-governmental organizations in Puntland to enable effective and efficient their independent operations. In addition to this, it provides opportunities for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to expand their capacities, as well as establishes and supports spaces and platforms in which NGOs in Puntland can share their experiences, learn from one another, and support one another.

PUNTNGO is committed to the development and capacity building of local NGOs through skills and knowledge transfer, institutional building, specialized technical advice and support, as well as engagement with INGOs and donors to this end. PUNTNGO believes that a coherent, respected, and well-informed NGO sector can actively contribute to and bring equity, justice, peace, and development to grassroots communities throughout Puntland, including the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
