Puntland NGO Network (PUNTNGO) exists to represent the local and national non-governmental organizations across Puntland and serves as a unifying organ for all of the local non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Puntland. It works to increase the visibility, voice, and power of NGOs in Puntland by raising public awareness about the role and responsibilities of NGOs in development and influencing public policy in relation to the role of non-governmental organizations in Puntland.

PUNTNGO creates awareness about the laws, policies, and regulations pertaining to NGO wellbeing among the NGOs in Puntland to foster NGOs adherence to the laws and policies, foster ethical conduct among NGOs, and also facilitate and mitigate disputes among NGOs and between NGOs and other actors. PUNTNGO champions and defends the rights and interests of non-governmental organizations in Puntland in all matters. And it also promotes the creation and maintenance of an enabling environment in order to effectively contribute to effective and equitable sustainable development in Puntland.
